What is grading?
Grading is a system of certification of collectible goods that guarantees the originality of the item and certifies its state of preservation based on a scale in degrees.
Here’s how grading increases the value of your items:
- They are transferred to enclosures that meet reliability and robustness criteria, suitable for preserving them over time;
√ no risk of losing value over time. - They receive proof of originality from the field leading experts;
√ 100% security of yours and any buyers that is not a fake. - They receive an official grading that differentiates the conservation state of your assets compared to others of the same type;
√ greater value rather than the same item as other collectors.
How to gradate?
1. Fill the Form
Fill out the form (you will find it at the fair or online in the “Deliveries and Prices” pages of the various collection departments) by entering your details and the list of the collectibles you want to make. Then calculate the estimate based on the tables in the pages relating to the different collections. If you have any doubts about the value of your item, don’t worry, assign it what you consider most appropriate (based on how much you paid for it or how much you would choose to insure for shipping). Don’t you have any idea? Assign it to the lower price range; if it should have greater value, we will contact you again.
2.Pack up
Carefully pack your goods before sending them to us and do not forget to attach the completed and printed form. During transport, despite all the care taken by the shippers, a package can become damaged, so we advise you to protect its contents carefully. Insert it inside a plastic casing, then secure it between two sheets of rigid cardboard, then protect it by inserting it all in a padded envelope with air bubbles. So your package is ready to go.
3. Send or deliver at the fair
You can send your collectibles by post or express courier, or deliver them directly at the fair.
4. Wait up
All things done well take time. Our experts work with the same attention and professionalism on the certification of each object as if it were its own. If you want to find out the average processing times for each category, consult the pages relating to the different collections.
5. Receive the package at home (or pick it up at the fair)
Receive your item at home or, if you prefer, collect it at the nearest fair where we will be present
